Program: Communities of Promise Initiative

Program Info: Description: The Communities of Promise Initiative is a systems-building endeavor focused on youth in the towns we serve. America�s Promise defines a Community of Promise as �a collaboration that commits to providing children and youth with the resources they need to thrive � the Five Promises � by engaging a diverse, multi-sector group of stakeholders in a defined geographic region.� The Adams Cheshire Savoy Youth Coalition is dedicated to ushering the adjacent towns of Adams, Cheshire and Savoy into a new era as a Community of Promise by guaranteeing that youth needs within the community are met, that all young people are provided with the Five Promises, and that all stakeholders within the town are sharing a common interest in the strong development of the youth of today in order to assure the strength of the leaders of tomorrow.; Age Group: This program is directed by 5 task forces, based on the 5 promises.; When: Ongoing; Contact: Jacquie Betti, Director - (413)743-0554
