The BDT wants its students to acquire a love for dance and music that will last a lifetime. Classes are offered for ages 2 1/2 through adult and include multiple forms of dance training, such as: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip-hop and Pointe. Our school calendar runs from Sept. through June, in addition to a Summer 6 to 7 week session. The school is involved in multiple community functions each year as well as mini-performances at area Nursing Care facilities and schools. Our aim is not just teach someone to dance, but to also instill in them a sense of community service and the importance of being part of the group while growing as an individual. All staff members are highly trained and certified in their fields of study

Programs Offered:

DANCEcamp
Description: The DANCEcamp program is designed for beginning and intermediate students. In addition to a daily dance class, children learn about and watch a classical ballet. This year's ballet is SWAN LAKE. Students explore their own creativity through pantomime and dramatic interpretation and also learn valuable lessons about anatomy, health and nutrition, dance history and dance volcabulary. At the end of the week, every participant goes home with their own DANCEcamp Memories scrapbook that they've created themselves! This year's DANCEcamp will be held at our WIlliamstown location and is under the direction of Karyn O'Toole, Artistic Director and lead teacher at the BDT. A family discount is availible. Summer Dance Classes at the BDT
Description: Our 5 week summer session will be offering classes Monday through Thursday afternoons and evenings for all ages and levels at our Adams studio. Please call for our school brochure,summer schedule and tuition rates.

Summer Ballet Intensive
Description: Natalya Getman, former principal dancer with the Moscow Ballet, once again joins us for a one-week intensive ballet workshop. Classes will meet daily and parents are invited to a presentaion at the end of the week. All area ballet students ages 8 & up are invited to participate in this exciting program. Multiple levels will be offered, including beginning through pointe work. Individual placement will be determined by experience and overall enrollment.
