Programs Offered:

Arcadia Employment Services
Description: A specialized employment, training, and placement agency supporting people with work related goals to obtain job opportunities throughout Berkshire County. Activities focus on vocational assessment, job development, identifying skills and qualifications required for specific occupations, matching these with the capabilities of the person and providing consulting services through a variety of support models to the employee and employer. The primary referral and funding source for Arcadia is the Mass. Dept. of Mental Retardation (DMR). Employment services provided by Arcadia also include the vocational evaluation contract with the Mass. Rehab. Comm. (MRC), Mass Commision for the Blind (MCB), SHIP and on-going partnerships with the local public school system.

Day Habilitation Center
Description: The DAY HABILITATION CENTER in North Adams provides adults with individualized services utilizing a medical model including clinical, physical, occupational and speech therapies as well as on-site nursing care and community integration options, such as volunteerism and recreational activities.

Community Residential Services
Description: BFAIR offers supportive flexible, individualized living assistance for individuals ranging in age from young adult to elderly. We have a variety of residential options, including staffed apartments, cooperative apartments, group homes, individual apartments with outreach and shared living arrangements. Clinical Support
Description: BFAIR\'s clinical services team lead by a Certified Applied Behavior Analyst provides individual assessment and consultative case reviews. The Clinical Department supports all agency programs and is responsible for staff training and development of individualized therapeutic plans.

Children and Adolescent Clinical Service
Description: Children and adolescents under the age of 22 with diagnoses of Autism, Developmental Disabilities, Emotional and/or Behavioral support needs, requiring increased support both at school and at home. MANY services provided.
